Zivit — The name of the House
Zivit comes from the ancient root Ziv, associated with radiance, brightness, and splendour.
Ziv appears as an ancient name for a month in the biblical account. It is traditionally associated with the radiance of trees, new shoots, and the flowering of that season. In the Book of Kings, it is named as the month when construction of Solomon’s Temple began. This is a historical reference to the origin of the name.
At Casa Zivit, the idea of a small glow offers a way to express what happens when we discover chocolate: an instant when an unexpected aroma, flavour, contrast, or nuance appears.
It can be enjoyed on its own or with coffee, tea, spirits, or milk shakes; also through the House’s sixteen bonbon recipes. Each encounter offers a different way to discover it.
When that instant stays with us, it becomes memory.
